The Microsoft Outlook Mobile Service (OMS) service allows you to send SMS natively from your Microsoft Outlook account.

Below is the list of features that are available:

  • 2 Way SMS functionality where you can receive SMS to your mobile phone or Microsoft Outlook.
  • Push calendar reminders via SMS
  • Forward emails to your mobile phone via SMS

Outlook Mobile Service is compatible with Microsoft Outlook 2007 and 2010. If your version of Microsoft Outlook is not compatible, please use Email to SMS or the SMSGlobal web interface to send SMS.

Handling replies through Outlook Mobile Service
By default, if you are using SMSGlobal's shared pool numbers, any replies will come back to your default account email address. It is possible to change the email any replies return to, however, even if multiple people are using the same account.
