Message templates

Using message templates it is possible store message contents that you frequently send. This means you are able to save time and increase the uniformity of your messages by always using the sample template. After you apply a template, you can still edit your message as well.

Viewing existing templates

To view and manage your existing templates, click on Tools, then Templates from the left hand menu.

Create a new template

To create a new template, click Create a Template from the Templates page. There are four settings for each template:
  • Name: A descriptive name for your template
  • From: The default Sender ID for messages sent using this template
  • Message: The contents of the message
  • Make this a Global Template: This setting determines whether sub-accounts/child accounts can access this template

Save a new template from a message

You can also create new templates based on messages you are composing. To create a new template, click Save As Template at the bottom of the Send Message screen, and input a name for your template when prompted.

Using templates

To use a template when sending to a numbercontact or campaign, click the Templates button below the message box when composing your message, and select the template you wish to use by clicking on it. This will insert the template into the message box, and allow you to edit it as necessary.

Setting a default template

Default templates will be added to every new message or campaign you send. To set a default, visit the Templates page and click Use as Default in the row next to the template you wish to make default.
